WWYL: Know Your Snow
Join the experts for this free lunch-hour Zoom webinar to examine what conditions look like on the ground right now and what that could mean for rivers and water supply this summer.

65% of the natural flows of the Colorado River originate from the snow collected by the mountains within the River District’s boundaries. Forecasters closely examine conditions relating to this snowpack including the snow-water equivalent, as well as soil moisture and predicted meteorological trends to estimate the flows of the river and plan for future water management.
